Coach Jim has lived almost a half century of passionate, active fitness sports and competition. He has coached athletes in baseball, soccer, swimming, long distance running, triathlons, general fitness and weight loss. He is also certified as a life coach and understands the mental challenges and discipline it takes to make positive changes in our lives. He held the cross country record at his high school for over 20 years and is now in the hall of fame for both cross country and track. He was the conference champion in cross country at UC Davis, and went on to compete at a national level training for the Olympic trials in the marathon.
